About the album Three Snakes And One Charm

The album Three Snakes and One Charm, released in 1996, would be the fourth album of the band from Georgia. Before the album, there had been an exhaustive tour for the promotion of Amorica, which pushed the band members to their limits. Even the brothers Chris and Rich Robinson had several arguments.

Under these conditions, the band would enter the studio to prepare their new album. The funny thing is that the Robinson brothers couldn't stand being and working together, so they would send each other by mail what each of them was preparing, as they were living in different parts of the U.S. at that time. The result was an album that seemed to have no orientation, as if it had nothing special to say to its listener.

Three Snakes and One Charm reached No. 15 on the Billboard and its sales were significantly lower than the previous three albums of the band. That was in the United States, because in the rest of the world - probably - it went unnoticed.
