About the album Ted Nugent

The musician Ted Nugent released his self-titled debut in 1975. The album takes American hard rock sound to another level. The compositions are excellent and their common characteristic is that they seem to transform southern rock into hard rock step by step.

Ted Nugent is the main composer of most of the songs, while Derek St. Holmes plays an important role on vocals in most songs (except Motor City Madhouse and You Make Me Feel Right At Home). Ted Nugent and his musicians work with producers Tom Werman and Lewis Futterman at The Sound Pit studio in Atlanta and the result is very strong.

The truth is that Ted Nugent is a purely American phenomenon, which did not find the same response in Europe as it had in the USA. Ted Nugent's debut appears in lists of the best-most important albums, while the copies sold in the USA exceed 2,000,000.
