About the album I Should Coco

In 1993, in Oxford, England, the band Supergrass was formed, a band consisting of twenty-somethings. Two years later, in 1995, their debut titled I Should Coco was released by Parlophone, and due to the musical frenzy in Britain known as britpop, Supergrass joined this musical genre. The album title comes from a slang expression meaning "I should think again."

I Should Coco is a mix of punk-rock and alternative rock. Beyond that, this album is something that combines the Beatles, the Clash, and the Jam. The UK audience embraced their first recording effort and sent them to No.1 on the country's charts. The single Alright was a huge success worldwide in the mid-'90s. The producer of the album was Sam Williams.

I Should Coco wrote its own chapter in alternative music, as well as in Britpop. It reached No.1 in the UK.
