About the album Calenture
The fourth album by the Australian Triffids is Calenture and it comes in 1987. Its title refers to a condition of sailors in which they imagine the sea as green plains and want to jump into them (!)
From the start of the recording, it was clear that Island Records and producer Craig Leon were interested in and focused on singer and guitarist David McComb.
The album reached No.32 in Australia.
