About the album Leave Home
In January 1977, the Ramones released their second album titled Leave Home. The album follows in the footsteps of the first album with a somewhat more pop hue. The producer of the album is Tony Bongiovi, cousin of Jon Bon Jovi. Leave Home was recorded between October and November 1976 at Sundragon studio in New York.
Leave Home is another barrage of punk rock compositions that rarely exceed two minutes in length. On this particular album, tracks like Pinhead, Suzy Is a Headbanger, and Commando stood out, while there is also a notable cover of California Sun.
The album achieved greater success in the United Kingdom, where it reached No.45, than in their homeland, where it placed at No.148 (!)
