His 'n' Hers by Pulp
About the album His 'n' Hers
Jarvis Cocker and his band, Pulp, entered Britannia Row Studios in London in October 1993, and by February 1994, they had recorded the songs that would make up the fourth album of their career, His 'n' Hers, produced by the British Ed Buller. The album was released in April 1994.
His 'n' Hers is one of the best britpop albums offered by this music trend in the mid-1990s. In May of the same year, Pulp released The Sisters EP, which included their song His 'n' Hers, which named their album (!) The first and main singles from the album were Lipgloss and Do You Remember The First Time?, which had a very satisfactory run in the British and European charts. The U.S. release of the album also includes the song Razzmatazz, which Pulp had released as a single in February 1993.
The album reached No. 9 in the United Kingdom, sold over 100,000 copies, went gold, and laid the foundation for the enormous success of the next Pulp album (!) the following year.
