No More Shall We Part by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
About the album No More Shall We Part
Nick Cave and his band the Bad Seeds return to discography after a four-year absence. During this time, Nick Cave had to follow a strict program of rehabilitation from heroin and alcohol, as he had reached a breaking point. The 2001 album is titled No More Shall We Part and represents a shift in the artist's composition style as the religious element is present in almost all the compositions.
The album was recorded at Abbey Road studios in London in September and October 2000. The band itself is involved in the production, along with producer Tony Cohen.
The album reached No. 4 in Australia and No. 15 in Great Britain. Its position on the Billboard was 180th.
