In For The Kill! by Budgie
About the album In For The Kill!
Budgie was a band from Wales, who in 1974 released their fourth studio album titled In For The Kill!. The musical style that dominates here - for most of the album - with later terms - would be heavy metal, but since we're in 1974, we should limit ourselves to "very hard rock".
It is noteworthy that the second song of the album, Crash Course In Brain Surgery, was covered by Metallica for the needs of The $5.98 E.P. – Garage Days Re-Revisited in 1987. However, this particular song had made its first appearance on the American edition of their debut Budgie in 1971.
The album In For The Kill! reached No. 29 in Great Britain, making it the Budgie album that achieved the highest position in their homeland.
