Hughes & Thrall by Hughes & Thrall
About the album Hughes & Thrall
Hughes & Thrall is the one and only album written and recorded by bassist and singer Glen Hughes of Trapeze and Deep Purple together with guitarist Pat Thrall. The album Hughes & Thrall is of great interest because its musical style is a combination of hard rock sound - mainly - with new wave, which was at its peak in 1982, the year of the album's release.
All compositions are the result of collaboration between the two musicians, except for the composition Coast To Coast, which is exclusively a composition by Glen Hughes, who had presented it in a different version with his first band, Trapeze.
The album had almost no commercial impact. In 2007, there was a reissue of the album by Rock Candy Records.
