After six years since their formation, Greta Van Fleet from Michigan, United States, recorded their first LP titled Anthem Of The Peaceful Army in 2018. Although there was material ready for recording, compositions they had created two or three years prior, they decided to leave most of it out and write new material from scratch. Thus, three out of four songs on their debut are work done in the studio.

In Anthem Of The Peaceful Army, Greta Van Fleet are heavily influenced by the classic rock of the '70s, but what they deliver is exceptionally well-crafted and interesting. The comparison with the sound of Led Zeppelin is inevitable, but the album earned the attention it attracted.

The album reached No. 3 in the United States and No. 12 in the United Kingdom, while impressively achieving 20,000 sales (digital and physical) in Poland (!)
