All Things Must Pass by George Harrison
About the album All Things Must Pass
All Things Must Pass was released in November 1970 and was George Harrison's first solo album after the end of the Beatles, but the third album of his solo career. Many critics consider it the best solo work that emerged from a member of the Beatles.
In its original release, the album was a triple vinyl. The first two records contained regular studio compositions, while the third record consisted of "jams." All the singles that came from the album were songs that Harrison had offered for the Beatles' records, but the others had rejected. Songs like My Sweet Lord and What Is Life (!)
Among the distinguished guests participating in the album’s recordings are Eric Clapton, Billy Preston on the organ, Peter Frampton on acoustic guitar, and Bobby Keys on saxophone. The production of All Things Must Pass belongs to George Harrison and Phil Spector, who applies the famous "Wall of Sound" to the fullest. The album's sales are estimated at around 4,000,000 copies worldwide.
