George Harrison by George Harrison
About the album George Harrison
The George Harrison of 1978 is recorded and released during a period when Harrison marries Olivia Arias, for whom he writes Dark Sweet Lady, and has his first child.
Participants in the album include Steve Winwood, Eric Clapton, Gary Wright, Neil Larsen, among others. Here Comes The Moon is a "response" to the Beatles' Here Comes The Sun, while Not Guilty is a composition of his from the White Album era in 1968. The song was recorded but never made it onto the album.
In the UK, George Harrison reached No. 39 and in the USA No. 14.
