Let It Be by The Beatles
About the album Let It Be
Let It Be is a peculiar story for the Beatles. Technically, it is their last release in 1970, but it is not their final recordings, as some of the songs were recorded in early 1968. The album was the twelfth in their career.
Let It Be was also released as a documentary-film, where one could watch the recording process of the album in the studios. The viewer has the opportunity to witness the tensions that existed among the members of the most successful band of all time. The direction was by Michael Lindsay-Hogg.
Of course, it reached No. 1 in the U.S., the UK, and many other countries. Its sales are approaching 5,000,000 copies worldwide. Phil Spector was in charge of the album's production.
