About the album Wind & Wuthering
Ten months after the release of A Trick Of The Tail, Genesis released their eighth album, Wind & Wuthering. This album featured Steve Hackett. In order to record it, Genesis gathered at Relight Studio in the Netherlands, something that hadn't happened before. David Hentschel was the co-producer of the album.
Wind & Wuthering also followed the musical style of progressive rock with elements of art rock in its compositions. The album took six weeks to record, according to Mike Rutherford. There was one single from the album, and that was Your Own Special Way.
The album reached No.7 in the United Kingdom and No.26 on the Billboard. The global sales of the album are estimated to be around 765,000 worldwide.
