About the album Head Games
In 1979, Foreigner continued their journey undeterred, which they had already charted from the first album. Head Games is their third album and – most probably – it is the closest to Hard Rock they have recorded.
Head Games is the first album by Foreigner with guitarist Rick Wills, and the last for keyboardist Ian McDonald and also keyboardist Al Greenwood. For Mick Jones, it was his last album where he also had singing duties, as the song The Modern Day was the last one recorded by Foreigner with him on lead vocals. The cover caused a reaction at the time as it showed a frightened teenage girl in some men's restrooms. The girl was then 15-year-old Lisanne Falk, who was a child model.
In the U.S. alone, it surpassed 5,000,000 in sales, while most of the five singles released did equally well.
