About the album Tempo Of The Damned
In 2004, the sixth album of Exodus became a reality, an album after twelve years of discographic absence, marking the return of the legendary thrash metal band from California to the music scene.
On vocals, we hear Steve Souza, who, however, would leave a few months later during the tour. In the song Impaler, Kirk Hammett of Metallica participates in its composition, as he was an original co-founder of Exodus.
Tempo Of The Damned did not achieve any commercial success for Exodus, but it is worth attention solely for the band's daring return at a time when thrash metal was starting to resonate again, but with bands whose members grew up listening to Exodus's first albums in their teenage years.
