About the album Among The Living
The album Among The Living, the third studio album by the thrashers from New York, is dedicated to the late Cliff Burton of Metallica.
The title of the song Efilnikufesin (N.F.L.) must be read backward to make sense: nise fukin life. It is ironic and refers to drug addiction. Inspired by the then-recent death of actor John Belushi from drugs.
This particular album established Anthrax as a leading group in the thrash metal scene and thanks to it, they made a career. After its success, the small clubs could not accommodate the band's ever-growing fans.
