About the album Slowhand

In 1977, Eric Clapton recorded one of the top albums of his career, Slowhand, which is a balanced work between the worlds of rock and blues.

The album's name comes from Eric Clapton's own nickname, which indicates the way he plays guitar. Its success was great since it reached No. 2 in the US and sold close to 3,000,000 copies there.

Producer Glyn Johns managed to give the album its sweet and warm sound, while also maintaining balance among those in the studio since Clapton and his musicians at that time did not have the best relationships.
