About the album Visionary

The band Eloy returns to the discography with their seventeenth album titled Visionary in November 2009. Eloy had not released any new work since 1998. The album features Hannes Folberth as the second keyboardist, who was a member of the group during the period 1980-84.

Visionary was recorded between December 2008 and July 2009 at the Horus Sound Studios, which is the creation and property of Frank Bornemann, the guitarist and singer of the band. The eight compositions of the album belong to him, who also acts as the producer. The album is an excellent example of modern progressive rock.

The album received particularly flattering comments from music critics at the time of its release, many of whom placed it among the most outstanding moments in the extensive catalog of the German Eloy.
