About the album Raise The Pressure
In 1996, Electronic presented their second album titled Raise The Pressure. It was preceded by the single Disappointed in 1992, which was on the album Songs from the Cool World, the soundtrack of the movie "Cool World". The sound of Electronic has taken a direction towards rock, without this meaning that synth-pop has disappeared. After all, this couldn't happen since there is collaboration in the composition of half of the album's songs with Karl Bartos of Kraftwerk.
The unique album cover, depicting a cherub, is a work by Swiss artist Johannes Handschin and closely resembles the cover of Technique, the album by New Order. The recording and production of the album lasted almost two years.
Raise The Pressure entered the UK Top-10, reaching No. 8. The reviews it received at the time of its release were not as positive as those for Electronic's first album.
