Electronic was a British electronic music duo formed in 1988 by Bernard Sumner of New Order and Johnny Marr of The Smiths. They achieved great success in the 1990s, combining elements of synth-pop, alternative rock, and dance music. They released three studio albums and collaborated with artists such as Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe of Pet Shop Boys. Their music was influenced by various genres and was instrumental in the evolution of the electronic music scene.
