About the album One Of These Nights

The Eagles seem, with the album One Of These Nights, to achieve what they had not managed with their previous albums - the success of reaching the top of the Billboard charts, or even better, paving the way for the enormous success that would come in the following years. One Of These Nights in 1975 was an album tailor-made for the American market.

One Of These Nights is a rock album bordering on soft rock, but one cannot ignore its folk rock and country rock elements. The album's success lies precisely there, in the balance that exists between rock and country. Don Henley has stated that this was the goal for himself and Glenn Frey, to create a country album that also contained hard rock guitars. The producer of the album was Bill Szymczyk, who has provided a flawless production that highlights every note. The cover was a work by American artist Harold Boyd Elder, who created works from the bones of dead animals. The name of the work is "El Chingadero".

The sales it has made have turned it platinum in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia. Worldwide, its sales have exceeded 4,600,000 copies.
