On Through The Night  by Def Leppard

On March 14, 1980, the British heavy metal band Def Leppard released their debut album titled On Through The Night. The album reached No. 15 in the United Kingdom and No. 51 on the Billboard. The songs that make up Def Leppard's first album are mainly songs that had already existed on singles and EP's. The producer of the album was Tom Allom.

From the album, three singles emerged: Wasted, Hello America, and Rock Brigade. The second reached No. 45 in Britain. The truth is that as the years went by and Def Leppard gained more and more fame thanks to their subsequent works, the overwhelming majority of the songs from On Through The Night were forgotten and not performed at the band's concerts. On the other hand, this particular album is one of those that defined the British heavy metal scene of the 1980s.

On Through The Night has gone platinum in the USA and Canada with 1,000,000 and 100,000 sales, respectively.
