About the album Sad Wings Of Destiny

Sad Wings Of Destiny is the second studio album from the group from industrial Birmingham, and its sound compared to their first album is noticeably different. Sad Wings Of Destiny represents a historic moment, it might even be the first album that can be clearly characterized as a heavy metal album.

Judas Priest combines, through their own perspective, the "heavy" elements of Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, and (why not) Queen, gifting us with a new sound.

This marks the beginning of the long-standing and pivotal collaboration of the group with producer and sound engineer Chris Tsangarides.
