About the album Human

Human will be the fourth studio album for the band Death. This time Chuck Schuldiner will completely change his band and, having as collaborators three new members, among them Paul Masvidal on guitars, he will record with them in May 1991 one of the brightest examples of technical death metal.

The sound of Human clearly differs from the sound of the first two albums and this was the reason for a split between Schuldiner and the original band members, who gradually left, accusing him of being a narcissist and "sellout".

The album Human managed to reach 100,000 sales in the United States of America, while in the rest of the world it reached 500,000 sales, something remarkable for a band of the death metal scene.
