The Way by Buzzcocks
About the album The Way
Thirty-six years after the release of their first album, the British Buzzcocks deliver lessons on how good punk-rock songs can be written. Pete Shelley's band achieves this with the ninth album of their career, The Way, which was released in May 2014 in digital form and in November of the same year in physical form. The Way was released eight years after Buzzcocks' previous work.
It's Not You, In The Back, and The Way were the three singles from the album, while the song Third Dimension cannot go unnoticed. The ten compositions of the album are shared between Steve Diggle and Pete Shelley.
Unfortunately, it was the last album that Shelley would record as he passed away in 2018. The album was produced by David M. Allen in collaboration with the members of Buzzcocks.
