Love Bites by Buzzcocks
About the album Love Bites
In September 1978, the Buzzcocks from Manchester released their second studio album, which would become their biggest commercial success in Great Britain, as it reached No. 13 on the charts. Much of this success is attributed to the single Ever Fallen In Love (With Someone You Shouldn't've).
In Love Bites, the Buzzcocks continue with the punk rock sound, which at that time was at its peak, and indeed to a greater extent than they did in their debut.
In order for the album to be recorded and completed, producer Martin Rushent and the band needed less than twenty days, as the band was on tour promoting their first record and there was no more time. The recordings took place at Olympic Studios in London.
