About the album Planet Waves
In 1974, the fourteenth studio album by Bob Dylan titled Planet Waves is released. The sound of the album is a typical rock sound. Dylan has the members of The Band with him in order to record this album, which doesn't seem to have preoccupied him much, judging by the fact that it took two weeks to record. The producer of the album was Rob Fraboni.
The song Forever Young is the one that survived from the whole album. There are two versions of it: the slow and the fast one. The song reflected Bob Dylan's desire to express the joy of fatherhood he felt during that period as he had just become a father. Another standout moment is the Wedding Song that closes the album. The cover is a painting by Bob Dylan.
Despite the mediocre reviews and the mediocre result, Planet Waves reached No.1 in the United States.
