About the album Down In The Groove
Down In The Groove will be the twenty-fifth album of Bob Dylan and its release will take place in 1988, being yet another mediocre work by Dylan.
The songs are a mishmash of recordings he made from 1983 to 1987. It is an album that contains two songs by him, two other songs by him and Robert Hunter of the Grateful Dead, while the remaining six are covers. This alone proves the slump into which Dylan had fallen. Among the interesting moments are Death Is Not The End, which was covered by Nick Cave on his album Murder Ballads, and Silvio, which was one of the two songs he wrote with Robert Hunter.
Down In The Groove reached No. 61 on the Billboard.
