About the album Marauder

Marauder from 1981 is the fifth studio album by Blackfoot. Blackfoot continue in the same musical style as their last two albums, meaning they are somewhere between southern rock and hard rock.

The standout song from Marauder is Fly Away, while here one can hear the ballad Diary Of A Workingman. The compositions of the songs belong to Rickey Medlocke and Jakson Spires. This specific album is considered by many to be the last notable album by the band from Jacksonville, Florida, as from then on, the records released by the band did not resemble the southern rock with which they started in the mid-1970s.

Marauder reached No. 48 on the Billboard.
