About the album Christmas Songs
In 2013, Bad Religion decided to release an EP with Christmas songs (!) putting their own punk rock touch. The result is naturally called Christmas Songs and it will be released at the end of October 2013.
In the 19 minutes of the EP, Bad Religion have the opportunity to present their own version of songs like White Christmas, a version based on I Wanna Be Sedated by the Ramones (!) and Little Drummer Boy, whose version is "based" on California Über Alles by the Dead Kennedys (!) The EP closes with American Jesus by Bad Religion in a different mix from the one that existed on Recipe For Hate in 1993.
The cover of the EP is a processed photograph, known as "New Shoes" which was taken in 1946 in Austria depicting a child holding a new pair of shoes from the people of the American Red Cross.
