About the album State Of Euphoria
The New Yorkers Anthrax, with their 1988 album State Of Euphoria, their fourth album, continue their journey toward establishing their name as one of the significant bands in thrash metal. Its sound can be described as a bit closer to the mainstream sound of that period, but one should definitely not dwell on that as the album contains compositions like Who Cares Wins or Be All, End All.
The album's great success was the single Antisocial, which was a cover-adaptation of the French Trust's song from 1980.
With State Of Euphoria, Anthrax managed to achieve their greatest commercial success to date as the album went gold in the U.S. and Canada and silver in the UK.
