Ace Frehley of 1978 is the solo project of the guitarist of KISS. Casablanca, wanting to capitalize on the Kiss phenomenon to the fullest, urged the 4 band members to record solo albums.
Ace Frehley's effort had the best results, selling 1,000,000 copies in the USA alone. The truth is that its sound is very close to the sound of KISS. The album's success was the New York Groove.
Ace Frehley is behind almost every instrument heard, and he also had a presence in the production.
