About the album How Dare You!

How Dare You! - recorded in 1975 - will be released in January 1976 and will go gold in the United Kingdom and Australia, just like the previous album of the British art rock band 10CC. How Dare You! contains nine compositions, of which the title track that opens the album is instrumental.

This album is a milestone for the band 10CC, as drummer Kevin Godley and guitarist Lol Creme will leave. Both were part of the group from its inception. The two of them will form the duo Godley & Creme in 1977 and will release seven albums over the next ten or so years. The cover of How Dare You! is a work by the design team Hipgnosis. Two singles promoted the album, Art For Art's Sake and I'm Mandy Fly Me.

The album reached No. 5 in the homeland of 10CC, Great Britain. How Dare You! reached No. 1 in New Zealand.
