About the album Sheet Music

The 10cc present their second studio album in 1974, titled Sheet Music. The ten songs that make up the album are the result of the collective work of all the band members, who composed them in any possible combination among the four members, while the same logic was applied to the interpretation of the songs. The album is an excellent example of art pop and art rock music from the '70s.

Sheet Music was recorded at Strawberry Studios at the time when Paul McCartney was also there, helping in the production of the album his brother, Mike McGear, was recording. McCartney worked during the day, and 10cc started in the evening. In some "metaphysical" way, the aura of the former Beatle has permeated the entire Sheet Music.

Sheet Music is, for many, the pinnacle album in the career of 10cc. The single The Wall Street Shuffle helped the album reach No. 9 in the United Kingdom.
