The Jam
Group
The Jam was a British new wave music band formed in 1972 in Surrey, England. It originally consisted of singer and guitarist Paul Weller, bassist Bruce Foxton, and drummer Rick Buckler. The band emerged on the music scene during the punk rock era but by combining elements of mod music, new wave, and British pop tradition, they created a unique sound that set them apart. Some of their most well-known songs include "Going Underground," "Town Called Malice," and "That's Entertainment." The Jam disbanded in 1982.
