Primal Scream is a Scottish rock band formed in 1982 in Glasgow by Bobby Gillespie. Their music combines various genres, such as rock, dance, and psychedelic music. The band gained international recognition with the album "Screamadelica" in 1991, which is considered a milestone in the British music scene and won the first Mercury Music Prize. Throughout their career, Primal Scream experimented with various musical styles, continuing to influence and evolve with each of their records.
