Oasis was a British rock band formed in Manchester in 1991. The founding members were brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, along with Paul Arthurs, Paul McGuigan, and Tony McCarroll. The band became known during the 1990s and is considered a pioneer of the British alternative rock scene. Their second album "What's the Story Morning Glory?" established them as one of the most successful bands of the era, with hits such as "Wonderwall" and "Don't Look Back in Anger". They disbanded in 2009 after internal disputes. Despite their breakup, their music continues to influence many artists.
