About the album The Last Command

W.A.S.P. from California collaborate on the production of their second album with Spencer Proffer, producer of Quiet Riot's Metal Health, aiming to establish themselves in the "heavy American scene" and release The Last Command in 1985.

Although the album is one of the best of W.A.S.P.'s career, it took thirteen years to become "gold" in the U.S.

The Last Command, when it was first released, reached No. 49 in the U.S. and No. 48 in Britain, indicating that it did not receive the response that Blackie Lawless - born Steven Edward Duren - and his band expected.
