About the album Mr. Fantasy

In late 1967, Traffic's debut was released in England with the title Mr. Fantasy, after some singles had been released in the previous months.

In this album, Steve Winwood and his team, influenced by the atmosphere of the era, also create a psychedelic sound, with Dave Mason impressing with his sitar playing.

Mr. Fantasy reached No.16 in Britain, while in the USA, it did not receive a similar reception and remained low on the chart.
