The Secret Life Of The Waterboys 81–85  by The Waterboys

In 1994, Mike Scott alone selects a series of recordings by the Waterboys, which had not appeared on any official studio album of the band and releases them under the title The Secret Life Of The Waterboys 81–85. The album is exactly what its title promises. Fifteen recordings made from February 1981 to November 1985.

Here one will hear “alternative” versions of some songs originating from the first three albums of the Waterboys, some live performances of songs recorded for BBC radio broadcasts, unreleased songs and even demos.

The Secret Life Of The Waterboys 81–85 is a collection of songs with special interest for all those friends of the band's early era, who wanted to expand on what they had heard and loved in this very special group of musicians.
