The fifth album by the Walkabouts in 1993 titled New West Motel is a brilliant example of how outstanding albums do not achieve the success they deserve due to typical commercial terms (lack of advertising, small label, poor management, etc.).
Chris Eckman and Carla Torgerson share the vocals with exceptional balance, complementing each other.
The initial release was a double LP.
