A Bigger Bang by The Rolling Stones
About the album A Bigger Bang
In hindsight, we can know that A Bigger Bang, the twentieth studio album of the Rolling Stones, was the last album on which Charlie Watts recorded and which contained original material from the band. The album was a return to the band's rock sound.
Its producer was Don Was along with Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. A Bigger Bang is one of the commercially successful albums. Its sales have exceeded 2,000,000 copies worldwide.
Even more successful was the tour that followed and lasted for two years. From August 2005 to August 2007. It is estimated that the revenues from this tour approached $560,000,000 (!). All performances were sold out, often within the first hours of ticket sales. One of the reasons the tour lasted so long was Keith Richards' recovery from an accident he had when he fell from a tree in the Fiji Islands (!)
