About the album Hit By Hit
The Godfathers were formed in London in 1985 and immediately released three singles (I Want Everything, This Damn Nation, Lonely Man).
The debut of the Godfathers consists of these three singles they had recorded and released in 1985 and 1986 and a cover of Cold Turkey by the Plastic Ono Band.
Hit By Hit had no luck on the official UK chart. It was simply a good start for one of the most unique British bands of all time.
