Question Mark And The Mysterians from Michigan were among the pioneers in taking the pop/rock sound to wilder paths. Their debut, 96 Tears in 1966, was a brilliant example of this.
The success of the album was based on the success of their first single - 96 Tears (No1 on Billboard) - which is now a legendary song.
96 Tears was the only album of the group that entered the Billboard (No66).
