About the album Spartacus
The Farm were formed in Liverpool in 1983, but it took eight years for them to release their first album, which was titled Spartacus and hit the market in March 1991.
Spartacus was an alternative dance album from which three singles emerged: Groovy Train, All Together Now, and Don't Let Me Down. The Farm primarily had Suggs, the leader and singer of Madness, in the album's production.
Spartacus reached No. 1 in the United Kingdom, where it went gold. The success of The Farm beyond their homeland was limited.
