About the album Schubert Dip

EMF from Britain emerged in 1991 with their debut, Schubert Dip, and made a splash with the alternative dance music they proposed at that time. The name of the album came about as a pun on the name of the Austrian composer Franz Schubert.

Four singles sprang from the album, making their rounds and achieving success. The most well-known single from the record was Unbelievable, which continued its journey for years after its release and seems to be the signature song for the group from Cinderford, England. This particular single reached No. 3 in the UK and No. 1 in the USA.

Thus, it was no surprise that Schubert Dip sold 1,000,000 copies in the USA. In the UK, the copies sold are estimated at 100,000, while the same number applies to Canada.
