Ohio Players  by The Black Keys

The Black Keys duo happily reach their twelfth studio album with the release of Ohio Players in 2024. It is yet another blues rock and garage rock record in the sense that the Black Keys perceive these musical terms. The album's producers were Dan the Automator and the Black Keys themselves.

Ohio Players had its first single as Beautiful People (Stay High), followed by a cover of I Forgot To Be Your Lover, a song by William Bell from 1968. Ohio Players also features Noel Gallagher from Oasis and Beck on some of the songs on vocals. The rapper Lil Noid participates in the song Candy And Her Friends.

This particular album reached No. 26 on the Billboard and became the first album by the Black Keys not to enter the Top-20 after eighteen years.
