About the album Ssssh

The English blues rockers Ten Years After entered the legendary Morgan Studios in London in June 1969, and within a month, they had their third album ready, titled Ssssh. Alvin Lee and his group play what they know best and add another milestone to their career.

All compositions belong to Alvin Lee except for Good Morning Little Schoolgirl, which is a cover of the song by the legendary American bluesman Sonny Boy Williamson I from 1937, to which they have given a highly psychedelic touch. This, of course, is a touch that runs through the other compositions since we are in 1969 and psychedelia is still going strong. The entire band was involved in the production of Ssssh, with Alvin Lee prominently leading.

The album managed to achieve commercial success as it reached No.4 in Britain, No.20 in the U.S., and its sales in Canada made it gold.
