Futuristic Dragon was the eleventh studio album by Marc Bolan's band, T.Rex. The album was released in late 1976. Marc Bolan himself was the producer of the album.
Two singles emerged from the album: New York City and Dreamy Lady. In this album, T.Rex experiment and explore soul and disco, which at the time was starting to make its mark and influence some of the existing bands seeking to renew their sound. All this under the veil of glam rock. On the backing vocals of the songs, we have the American Gloria Jones.
Futuristic Dragon reached No.50 on the UK charts.
